Soccer Game Preview: Manchester Central vs. Exeter

The Manchester Central Little Green will head out to challenge the Exeter Blue Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Manchester Central has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Manchester Central and Windham, and Windham kept the tradition alive. The Little Green lost 5-1 to the Jaguars on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Manchester Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Windham are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Exeter waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Owls get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Exeter, who have now won six matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Exeter's win bumped their record up to 8-4-3. As for Manchester Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1.
