Baseball Recap: James Buchanan Makes It Three in a Row at Home

James Buchanan won the last time they faced Shippensburg and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rockets came out on top against the Greyhounds by a score of 9-4.

Jake Miller was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jimmy Bell, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.

James Buchanan pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Shippensburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-11.
