West Iredell took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against the Statesville Greyhounds as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

While West Iredell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24, 25-14.

Coming up, West Iredell will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Foard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Statesville, they will challenge Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
