Soccer Recap: Cony Comes Up Short

Cony's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Gardiner Tigers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Cony have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Cony and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1. As for Gardiner, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Cony is taking a road trip to square off against Nokomis at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Gardiner, they will take on Morse at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morse will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Gardiner surely won't give up without a fight.
