Softball Game Preview: Tranquillity Tigers vs. Mendota Aztecs

The Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Aztecs at 4:00 p.m. Tranquillity has given up an average of 18.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tranquillity is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 31st straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Avenal, falling 13-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mendota, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Firebaugh on Friday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last seven times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Mendota's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Tranquillity, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
