Volleyball Recap: Leila Alisa and Ainsley Brown Secure Win for Beaver

There's no place like home for Beaver, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Parowan Rams on Tuesday. This was payback for the Beavers, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory didn't come easy: Parowan scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 25-20.

Beaver was led to victory by Ainsley Brown and Leila Alisa. Brown had ten digs and two aces, while Alisa had 18 digs, seven kills, four aces, and two blocks. That's the most aces Alisa has posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got Beaver back to even at 2-2. As for Parowan, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beaver will face off against Piute at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parowan, they will challenge Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
