Orange and Montgomery Central squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Orange had to settle for second. They lost 5-1 to the Timberwolves. Orange's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Brendan McDonald, who's now up to two this season.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Montgomery Central, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1.

Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montgomery Central, they will venture away from home to square off against C.B. Aycock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery Central will need to watch out since C.B. Aycock have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
