Davis entered their tilt with Weber on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 18-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Darts, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Owen Talbot, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Gavin Jacks also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Davis' win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Weber, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

Davis will have a chance to go back-to-back against Weber: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
