East Valley and Othello are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Red Devils will challenge the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, East Valley beat Sunnyside 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

While East Valley might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sunnyside scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 18-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Othello hadn't done well against Ephrata recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2.

Othello's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for East Valley, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Everything went East Valley's way against Othello in their previous meeting back in September, as East Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
