Soccer Recap: Apollo Gets the Win

Apollo barely beat Dobson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Apollo.

Apollo now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Dobson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Apollo has already played their next match (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dobson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McClintock at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026. Dobson will be up against McClintock's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
