Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Eagles vs. Rossview Hawks

Northeast hasn't had much luck against Rossview recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Northeast Eagles face off against the Rossview Hawks at 6:00 p.m.

On Friday, Northeast had to suffer through a 68-27 loss at the hands of Clarksville. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Wildcats are ranked 51st).

Meanwhile, after only 18 points in their last matchup, Rossview made sure to put some points up on the board against Springfield on Friday. Rossview walked away with a 59-48 win over Springfield.

Rossview is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Northeast took a serious blow against Rossview in their previous matchup on January 9th, falling 74-16. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Northeast was down 46-12.
