Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Takes a Loss

St. Pius X was the 64-60 winner over Madison when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Pius X Panthers fell to the Madison Marlins 75-69. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Pius X's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

St. Pius X won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Episcopal will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something St. Pius X surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madison, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Madison's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
