A Season-Best  Effort from  Pj Faul Leads Haskell over Chouteau-Mazie
  Pj Faul produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Haskell to the win  on Friday. Faul rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 175 yards and four touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 55 yards.
 Haskell's win  ended  an  eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-4. Faul and Haskell will challenge Hulbert at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Jaseir Posey Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 It was an underclassman who stole the show  on Thursday as  Jaseir Posey came into the  game on a mission. He made a major impact, throwing for 244 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Thanks to that strong showing,  he's  now averaging 3.2  passing touchdowns per game.
 On the year,  Posey  has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 339.7 passing yards per game.

Cody Botts Goes Supernova in Hulbert Defeat
 Hulbert was sadly handed a  defeat on Thursday, but  Cody Botts did his best to prevent it. Botts was dynamite, rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Hulbert dropped their record down to 1-5 with the  loss, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Botts and Hulbert will be playing at home against Haskell  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Noah Ellis Makes It Two for Haskell
 Another Haskell player making an appearance on this list is  Noah Ellis. He forced a fumble and made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
 For the year,  Ellis  has averaged 4 total tackles per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 0.17  total tackles per game.

Lubbock Drake Rounds Out Top Five
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Lubbock Drake of Warner. Drake forced a fumble and made 12 total tackles.
 For the year,  Drake  has averaged 12.7 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 38.17  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 79.33  rushing yards.
