Basketball Game Preview: West Hempstead Rams vs. Lawrence Golden Tornadoes

The West Hempstead Rams will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Lawrence Golden Tornadoes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Hempstead, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, West Hempstead didn't have too much trouble with Carle Place as they won 69-51.

Meanwhile, Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 68-53 to Island Trees.

The victory got West Hempstead back to even at 1-1. As for Lawrence, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

Everything came up roses for West Hempstead against Lawrence when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 67-34 win. Will West Hempstead repeat their success, or does Lawrence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
