Flag Football Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Triumphs

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Saint Ignatius College Prep ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 7-6 win over the DePaul College Prep Rams. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolfpack as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Saint Ignatius College Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Regan Cole and Caroline Cole. Regan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got Saint Ignatius College Prep back to even at 6-6. As for DePaul College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Saint Ignatius College Prep will square off against St. Laurence at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolfpack will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. DePaul College Prep has already played their next game (against De La Salle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
