Capital City came into Monday's match looking for another win against Osage, but Izzy Milligan wouldn't allow it. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cavaliers on Monday for which the team can thank Milligan, who had ten digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Osage had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-19.

Capital City's loss came despite strong showings from Danika Brase and Emery McKim. Brase had 12 digs and two aces, while McKim had eight digs and one assist.

Osage now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Capital City, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-4.

Osage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Father Tolton on the 9th. As for Capital City, they will take on Rolla at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
