Providence had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-0 margin over the Rocky River Ravens. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Providence got a massive performance out of Camryn O'Connor, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Zo? Thurston, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Providence was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .900. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in seven consecutive matches.

Providence pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Rocky River, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
