Recap: Lausanne Collegiate Lynx vs. Harding Academy Lions
The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They managed a 53-47 win over Harding Academy on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Lausanne Collegiate, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lausanne Collegiate was led to victory by Marion Brewer and Carson Boyle. Brewer scored 13 points, while Boyle scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The match was Boyle's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Bachelor, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Lausanne Collegiate is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. As for Harding Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Lausanne Collegiate will head out on the road to face off against First Assembly Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. First Assembly Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Harding Academy will take on St. George's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. George's focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
