Soccer Game Preview: Clarkdale vs. Magee

Clarkdale is 3-0 against Magee since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Clarkdale Bulldogs will challenge the Magee Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Tuesday, Clarkdale came up short against Enterprise and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Magee's offense. They lost 7-0 to Southeast Lauderdale on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Magee now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Clarkdale, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-3-2.

Everything went Clarkdale's way against Magee in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Clarkdale made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clarkdale since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
