Football Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Sault Area last Friday, Marquette came back down to earth. The Sentinels received a blow on Friday as they fell 38-20 to the Escanaba Eskymos. The Sentinels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eskymos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Marquette's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Escanaba, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marquette is set to take on their familiar foe Petoskey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Escanaba will challenge rival Gaylord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eskymos 12.5, the Blue Devils 12.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
