Softball Recap: Carbon Comes Up Short

Carbon lost against Duchesne back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dinos lost 13-4 to the Eagles.

Carbon saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brailee Peterson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Carbon's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10. As for Duchesne, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Carbon will take on Canyon View at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Duchesne, they will face off against North Sevier at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
