Desert Hot Springs played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Shadow Hills Knights and fell 44-10. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jaylen Turner threw for 139 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. Trevion Sewell was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Anthony Hodge rushed for 48 yards.

Shadow Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesse Rodriguez, who threw for 288 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 288 passing yards gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Brandon Peffers was in the mix as well, providing Shadow Hills with two scores.
