Soccer Recap: Firebaugh Gets the Win

The Firebaugh Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hawthorne Cougars 2-1.

Firebaugh now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Hawthorne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Firebaugh and Hawthorne will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Firebaugh sees the pitch they'll take on Duarte at 5:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Hawthorne, their break will end when they face Gardena at 5:00 p.m. on December 1.
