If Argonaut wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played El Dorado, they should've done a better job of containing Fatima Talavera. The Cougars put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from Talavera, who had 14 assists and six digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-14.

El Dorado picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Argonaut, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, El Dorado will be playing in front of their home fans against Rosemont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argonaut, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kennedy on the 5th.
