Football Recap: Kennedy Commanders vs. Lutheran Lions

Kennedy had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Lutheran Lions. If the Commanders were looking for revenge after losing 55-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marcelis Allen threw for 57 yards on nine of 23 attempts.

As for Lutheran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Considering they have won five contests by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Eli Abramson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 179 yards and four TDs while completing 90% of his passes. He has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lutheran, they will take on Eagle Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Devils' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
