Volleyball Recap: Pungo Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Pungo Christian Academy and Southeastern Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pungo Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-8, 25-19.

Southeastern Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Kaylee Stevens, who had seven digs and two aces. What's more, Stevens posted five assists, the most she's had since back in August.

Pungo Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Pungo Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Ridgecroft at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
