Even though the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats have not done well against the Boyertown Bears recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Everything went Owen J. Roberts' way against Boyertown as Owen J. Roberts made off with a 60-37 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Boyertown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brant Rath, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Jack Greaves was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three blocks.

The victory was the third in a row for Owen J. Roberts, bringing their record for this year to 8-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Boyertown, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Owen J. Roberts will be playing in front of their home fans against Spring-Ford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring-Ford presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Owen J. Roberts in Pennsylvania (Spring-Ford is ranked 19th, while Owen J. Roberts is ranked 355th). As for Boyertown, they will head out on the road to face off against Perkiomen Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Perkiomen Valley will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
