Baseball Recap: Lakota East Comes Up Short

The Lakota East Thunderhawks came up short against the Badin Rams on Saturday and fell 7-2. The game marked the Thunderhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lakota East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Badin, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Lakota East and Badin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Thunderhawks will challenge Sycamore at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (88 vs. 266). Meanwhile, Badin (ranked seventh) will meet Carroll (ranked 479th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
