Despite the loss, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech saw an underclassman step up: Claire Donohue scored 11 points.
Tarboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ajennah Mcneil, who scored 10 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mcneil has scored at least 25% of Tarboro's points. Another player making a difference was Aleya Whitfield, who scored 11 points.
Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tarboro, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mattamuskeet at 4:00 p.m. on December 4th. Tarboro will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rocky Mount Prep at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
