Fairborn and West Carrollton are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Skyhawks will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Pirates at 11:45 a.m. West Carrollton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairborn, who comes in off a win.

Fairborn took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They breezed past Xenia to the tune of 62-30. The Skyhawks have beaten the Buccaneers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Buccaneers has come to flipping the script.

Brooklynn Kimball had a dynamite game, almost dropping a triple-double with 21 points, nine boards, and 12 steals. Those 12 steals gave her a new career-high. Aubrey Jones was another key player, going 7-for-15 en route to 17 points and five rebounds.

Fairborn smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, West Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Butler and fell 64-30. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-12.

West Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fairborn, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
