Volleyball Recap: Allie Davison and Ashlyn Pelon Secure Win for Marian + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Marian, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Seaholm/Groves Maples on Thursday.

Marian was led to victory by Ashlyn Pelon and Allie Davison. Pelon had five digs and two aces, while Davison had 16 assists and three aces. Davison has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 23 times she's played.

Marian pushed their record up to 35-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Seaholm/Groves, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12-4.

Coincidentally, Marian and Seaholm/Groves will both be playing Brighton the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Maples will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
