Preview: Shawnee Renegades vs. Westampton Tech Panthers
The Shawnee Renegades will head out on the road to face off against the Westampton Tech Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Shawnee will be strutting in after a victory while Westampton Tech will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Shawnee beat Seneca 59-46. Given Shawnee's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while Seneca is ranked 264th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Westampton Tech suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Medford Tech, falling 73-32.
Shawnee is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Westampton Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Shawnee came up short against Westampton Tech in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, falling 56-48. Thankfully for Shawnee, Tyrese Myrick (who scored 28 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
