Volleyball Recap: Chase Comes Up Short

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Burns Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-5.

Chase's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Burns, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Chase will square off against West Caldwell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Burns, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against East Gaston on the 21st.
