Recap: Mesa vs. Westwood
In what's become a running theme this season, Mesa gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They didn't even let Westwood onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. Edgar Perez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Mesa.
Mesa hit Westwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Giovanni Fierro,
Fabian Zamora, and Perez.
Mesa's win bumped their record up to 12-2-1. As for Westwood, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mesa will take on Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Westwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dobson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
