Softball Recap: Quitman Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Quitman barely beat Rison the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Quitman's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Rison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Quitman will head out to face off against West Side at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rison, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Glen Rose at 5:00 p.m.
