Basketball Recap: Bradenton Christian Drops Season-High Score on Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bradenton Christian). They blew past the Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy Eagles 66-46 on Friday. The Panthers have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Timmy Mercer had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten assists. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nic DeFrank, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 21 points and seven rebounds.
