Softball Recap: Normal West Wildcats vs. Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs
The third road game was the charm for Normal West, as they earned their first away win of the season. They had just enough and edged out the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs 2-1 on Thursday.
Kate McGowan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks.
