Soccer Recap: Shepherd Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northern Michigan Christian, Shepherd was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Reed City Coyotes a 1-0 shutout. This was payback for Shepherd, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Shepherd back to even at 1-1. As for Reed City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Shepherd has already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Gladwin on the 18th. As for Reed City, they will host Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give Reed City their first taste of in-conference action this season.
