Recap: White Plains Tigers vs. Arlington Admirals
The White Plains Tigers won the last time they faced the Arlington Admirals, and things went their way on Wednesday too. White Plains secured a 47-43 W over Arlington. The victory made it back-to-back wins for White Plains.
Ineivi Plata was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Sequoia Layne, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
White Plains' win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.75 points. As for Arlington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Plains will challenge Ketcham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against North Rockland at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. North Rockland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Arlington likes a good challenge.
