Baseball Recap: Southeast's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Southeast had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Capitol Hill Redwolves get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The Spartans not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Nano Soliz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Xzavier Aguilar, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Southeast's victory bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Capitol Hill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Coming up, Southeast will challenge Santa Fe South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Capitol Hill, they will head out to square off against Douglass at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redwolves are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
