Volleyball Game Preview: Geneseo Blue Devils vs. Letchworth Legends

Geneseo hasn't had much luck against Letchworth recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Blue Devils will face off against the Legends at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Geneseo didn't have quite enough to beat Caledonia-Mumford and fell 3-2.

Geneseo actually scored more points across those five sets (108-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 15-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Letchworth beat Avoca Central 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Legends.

Letchworth's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Geneseo, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Geneseo was able to grind out a solid win over Letchworth in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
