Football Recap: Johns Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Johns Creek fell victim to Roswell and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Hornets, falling 60-0. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Hornets are ranked 18th).

Trey Smith produced another solid performance throwing for 142 yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 50 yards for Roswell. What's more, Smith racked up 125.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Wills Campbell also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.

Johns Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Roswell, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Johns Creek has already played their next contest, a 52-0 defeat against Lanier on the 9th. As for Roswell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 57-13 victory against Chattahoochee on the 10th.
