Basketball Recap: Utica Takes a Loss

Utica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 59-23 loss at the hands of the Romeo Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-37 back in January.

Utica's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Romeo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Coming up, Utica will venture away from home to face off against Chippewa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chippewa Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Utica surely won't give up without a fight. As for Romeo, they and Lakeview will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
