Basketball Game Preview: Henderson Lions vs. Gilmer Buckeyes

Henderson is 0-9 against Gilmer since February of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Henderson Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Gilmer Buckeyes at 5:45 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Henderson's tournament run continued when they took on Marlin on Friday. Henderson took down Marlin 50-36.

Meanwhile, Gilmer can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Rivercrest by a score of 55-45.

Henderson's record now sits at 8-10. As for Gilmer, their record now sits at 2-15.

Henderson took a serious blow against Gilmer in their previous matchup back in January, falling 60-21. Can Henderson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
