LEE was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of the Churchill Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Volunteers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 976th, while the Chargers are ranked 328th).

Hunter Pavlicek was nothing short of spectacular for Churchill: he threw for 143 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown. Pavlicek is becoming a predictor of Churchill's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 4-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
