Laurel Hill and Florala are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Hoboes will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laurel Hill has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Laurel Hill had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Baker put an end to it on Monday. The Hoboes lost 16-0 to the Gators.

Florala never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Greenville on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 11-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wildcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Paige Musso was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. Musso was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Julia Leonard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in March.

Florala's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Laurel Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
