The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won ten contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Galesburg-Augusta, bringing their record up to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Bangor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
