Softball Recap: MOC-Floyd Valley Triumphs

The third road matchup was the charm for MOC-Floyd Valley, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the West Monona Spartans by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.

MOC-Floyd Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West Monona, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Coming up, MOC-Floyd Valley will host Sioux Center at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Monona, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
