Baseball Recap: Aransas Pass Takes a Loss

Aransas Pass lost against West Oso back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers fell 6-3 to the Bears. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aransas Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for West Oso, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aransas Pass will face off against Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.95 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Oso, they will square off against Odem at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Owls will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
