Basketball Game Preview: Madisonville Mustangs vs. Palestine Wildcats

The Madisonville Mustangs will head out to face off against the Palestine Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madisonville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Last Friday, Madisonville didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bullard, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Palestine made off with a 37-36 victory over Center.

Madisonville has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Palestine, their win bumped their record up to 10-17.

Madisonville was able to grind out a solid victory over Palestine when the teams last played on January 3rd, winning 43-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madisonville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
